on the afternoon of november 12, 2019, professor michel morin of the university of montreal law school and professor jiao jie, chinese project director of the university of montreal visited our school and gave talks on the university of montreal law school’s program of the full english ll.m. business law in a global context. associate professor sun pin of the law school of beijing normal university attended and presided over this seminar.
associate professor sun ping firstly represented the law school to welcome professor michel morin and his team, briefly introduced the basic information of the university of montreal and the research characteristics and research advantages of the unique mixed legal systems of the university of montreal to the students, at the same time told her feelings about her work and life in confucius institute in quebec, and encouraged interested students to communicate and exchange with the visiting teachers.
subsequently, michel morin introduced the time of establishment, the purpose of the department and geographic location of the university of montreal law school, focused on introducing the program of the full english ll.m. business law in a global context and gave a detailed and specific explanation of the sources of students, setting of courses and credits, application conditions and procedures, scholarship, etc.
next, professor jiao jie gave meticulous answers to the questions put forward by students about the program application requirements, application process and materials required for studying in canada.
